Our story

Every tide needs both halves.

Here is how a language goes quiet over three generations. The first lives it. The second understands it. The third knows a handful of words and the way a grandmother sounded saying them. The songs, the proverbs and the riddles slip away with it, and nobody notices until the room is silent.

Two Brooklyn brothers with Haitian and Jamaican roots are growing up right at that edge. Ebb is how we keep the old things close: Kreyòl, Krik? Krak! tales, Anansi stories, drum rhythms, recipes that were never written down. Flow is what they build with it all: reasoning, making, practice, a good idea turned into a real thing.

EB & Flow makes apps, books and tools so the grandchildren of the diaspora never have to ask what their elders were saying. Every dollar the company earns belongs to the boys. Think Gerber: one little face on the jar, and decades of parents knew it by heart.
